The purpose of this blog is to introduce yourself to the class.  Where is it says:  Leave A Reply say where you are from and what you find most interesting about Biology. Also tell us something else about yourself. I Am from Pennsylvania and have been teaching Cell Biology, Genetics, and Microbiology at LCC since 2002. My favorite part of Biology is genetics. My hobbies include board games (and we will play many types of games in this class) and  Ultimate Frisbee.

  2. Hi! My name is Thuong. I moved to Lansing from Vietnam in 2008. The most interesting about biology is that we can study all living things (human, animal, or tree). My hobbies are shopping and taking kids outside to play.

  4. Hi! My name is Maryam, and I’m originally from Iran. I moved to the U.S in 2009. I used to study/work in the design field for more than ten years, until I found out that my was passion was elsewhere. I find science fascinating, whether the science is about medicine, research or cosmos! In Biology, the fascination for me arises from getting to know how the smallest parts of an organism work and how these tiny bits work hand in hand with larger bits to make a living creature live.

  9. Hello, my name is Sarah. I’m from California and have been living in East Lansing for 3 years now. I am interested in the make up of the body and how it all comes together to work. I am majoring in chemistry and have not taken biology classes yet. In my free time I enjoy playing video games and watching hockey. I also enjoy traveling and have been to many different states. In the future I look forward to traveling to different countries.

  10. Hi, my name is Matthew Breck, but I go by Matt. I graduated from Michigan State but I need to take Biology in order to apply to PA schools. I am interested in all aspects of Biology, but most of all Marine Biology.

  11. Hi I’m Cori I just graduated from MSU in May with a degree in Animal Science. What I like about biology is genetics. My hobbies include reading and taking care of my puppy.

  12. Hello, I’m Rashawn Jackson. I’m a senior at MSU currently in the Athletic Training program but taking classes for medical and PA schools. I think evolution is a cool topic in Biology. I enjoy watching football and basketball along with hanging out with friends.

  13. Hi, My name is Bailey Kowalski. I attend Michigan State University where I am pursuing my degree in Zoology as I am also a Pre-Vet student. I am taking this course to fulfill my pre-vet requirements so that I can apply to vet school. I think the most interesting part of biology is being able to learn things at the microscopic level and interpret them for so many things at the macroscopic level. In my free time I enjoy play and running with my dog, Kevin. In the summer I also like to fish and watch baseball.
